In September 2003, Surface Transforms signed a development contract with the United States Air Force (USAF) Research Laboratory for the supply of prototype CFRCs.

CFRCs’ technical properties have considerable potential advantages when used in materials, exhaust components and braking systems for ‘next-generation’ military aircraft.
